Charlie Dotson
Since taking the helm of the Eldorado Eagles football program in 2007, Coach Charlie Dotson has transformed the team into a powerhouse in New Mexico high school football. Under his leadership, the Eagles have consistently been contenders, reaching the state championship game multiple times and boasting a formidable record that speaks to his coaching prowess and dedication.
Coach Dotson's tenure is marked by a commitment to excellence, discipline, and community engagement. He has cultivated a culture where hard work, sportsmanship, and academic achievement go hand in hand. His ability to develop players both on and off the field has earned him respect among peers and admiration from the Eldorado community.

Zach Gentry
Zach Gentry's football journey began at Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he was a standout quarterback. His impressive high school career led him to the University of Michigan, where he transitioned to tight end under the guidance of Coach Jim Harbaugh. Gentry's adaptability and work ethic paid off when he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He went on to play four seasons with the Steelers, showcasing his skills in 40 games and starting 25 over the past two seasons.
In 2023, Gentry signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, continuing his professional football career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Gentry has remained connected to his roots. He has returned to Eldorado High School to train with the current football team, sharing his experiences and mentoring the next generation of players
